Review by hotel critic
During my recent trip to Trieste, I had the pleasure of staying at a charming gem in the heart of the old city. The hotel boasts an ideal location, perfect for immersing yourself in the city's historical essence, with inviting cafes and renowned restaurants just a short stroll away. My culinary journey began with breakfast, where I was greeted by a barista crafting exceptional coffee - a must for any fellow caffeine enthusiast out there! The dining experience extended beyond breakfast; the hotel's restaurant captured the essence of local flavors with a contemporary twist. Each dish showcased innovative techniques, harmonizing tradition and modernity beautifully. I found myself savoring the pairing of local wines with fresh seafood, a reflection of the region's rich marine resources. Although there was a minor inconvenience with the streetlight filtering into my room, the warm and accommodating staff made up for it. For anyone exploring Trieste, this hotel offers a delightful balance of comfort and culinary exploration. It's a fantastic launchpad for indulging in the city's vibrant food scene while enjoying a taste of its storied past.
